Even older ft's don't always find the place pleasing, seems like the general opinion then is unfavorable no matter how old you are.

Maybe for some older FT's it is ok in China. I remember that Silverboy poster who was on here was older and well-off financially, but he still left. I know many people who are leaving or want to leave. Even SB usually had a few positive things to say about China, guess he just got tired of it all. He also thought ESL in China had no future. Sure, China has some tasty snacks, pretty girls, and cheap cold beer, but can get that in better Asian countries also. China is a choice, but not the only one.
