Re: What is up with one-sided contracts?

The employee pays for housing, so, it doesn't say 6000USD, but that is how much it costs at least for three months rent and fees. Plus, airline tickets are binding on us until the end of the contract. Stack that on to the annaul settling allowance and it very costly.

In total, it cost me with the airline ticket 7150.00USD to settle in, with just a small fraction of financial help. The rent far exceeds the housing allowance, unless one wants to commute an hour plus to work each day.

"If Employer finds you unfit and not performing properly, employer reserves the right to terminate immediately" Not performing properly? I can understand gross misconduct, but threre is no job description except the hours required. Also, if they want to terminate you, you pay for the ticket home and pay up the lease in your apartment.

In other contracts, unless one has broken the law, if the employer decides to break the contract, expenses ar binding on them. If the employee decides to brak conract, then the expenses are bind the employee.

Feel trapped!
