There was an article on a Chinese News Site about a German guy who hooked up with 300 girls in Beijing alone in a span of a few years time. He actually wrote about this in his own journal which was discovered by other people eventually. There was another, more attention catching one though about a government official who blackmailed and prodded his way into sleeping with over a hundred women, and collected body hairs from a rather sanctified area as "trophies". China is certainly not too conservative in this regard that I'd agree with you. Even countries with misogynistic attitudes towards women such as India could be more conservative.
