I generally try to stay away from the issues of money and status obsessed people, but in the real world there are simply too many to boot. In a country such as China you cannot even go to the local corner store without the clerks and cashiers sizing you up and trying to determine what status you have in society. To be fair, expats who fit the Aryan look will get a lot less crap in this regard. Therefore, the experiences of foreigners who have worked in China can be vastly different. With this in mind, some of the trolls who think that China is perfect and can do no wrong because they never had a bad experience are doing a disfavor both to themselves and to the Chinese people they work/live with. Basically you would be stating that both you and the people you are defending are not fully human, and do not deserve to be judged on the standard of a normal, decent human being.
