Re: listening assessment

Using Chinese expressions and sentences in the classroom and have students say things in English as suggested by the Beelzebub poster may be a possibility in case of lazy and unmotivated students who have no clue of the language. However, to me, it does not seem to be the proper procedure in case of students who really want to learn the language; above all, that is also not according tom the current state of art in the industry.

Well, Turnoi, when i have found myself banging my head against a brick wall, I have decided that one of us should leave the classroom knowing a bit more than when entered- my lesson plans have often been constructed in order to improve my Chinese- Better than losing one's rag is to turn a bad situation into an advantageous one; if only for yourself- am I right or am I right?
