RE ELIZABETH: "Becoming an IELTS examiner in China" - Teachers Discussion

Elizabeth, - I assume you are a qualified ESL teacher..? If you are, and you are interested in training to become an IELTS examiner, AND you teach regularly in China, - I would reccomend that you contact THE BRITISH COUNCIL in Beijing ( Their U.K head office number/ website?/ should be able to provide you with contact details for Beijing.

I know the British Council regularly run training courses for suitably qualified teachers, - often over weekends, in Beijing ( if you can get to Beijing for a weekend or two.) As The British coucil Co - administer IELTS world wide, they are as good as the best to do it with, ( They are an excellent organiztion,) and it is often easier to do it while in China than in other English speaking countries, where trainees are often only accepted as new examiners become needed, locally.
