Nothing to do with a bloody doctorate but with decent and reputable employers. I haven't been talking about China but about Continental Europe and the US.
I know my worth, and I also hope you do with regards to yourself as well. Some reasonable amount of self-esteem and self-confidence helps a lot, no need to kowtow all the time!

You should be careful to those who kowtow to you and try to put your opinion as being more credible than that of others who agree with you Turnoi. I am talking specifically about the poster whom you are responding to. Their compliments are like candy, and they want to treat you as if you were a baby. This board would not have too much credibility if you were the only one who was the voice of opposition.
