"Wangbadan" is now firmly stuck in my mind now.

I wish I had known "wangbadan" when I was in Beijing in 1990 because the helpful staff at the Yongdingmen Hotel put in the most horrendous room I have ever ever seen in all my life anywhere - whilst my "real" room was sitting vacant.

Or maybe it was good that I didn't.
