My laptop:

C:30.6 GB 40 GB
D:84.4 GB 90 GB
E: 102 GB 102 GB
No F disc.
I reckon my PC discs are clutter-free. My major software downloads are Winamp lite player for audio files only, and Sopcast.
BTW, the link below for BBCWS radio downloads much faster for me here in the PRC than BBC's radio player does, and carries the same programmes:
My connection's bandwidth is 56K. My op system is the Chinese version of Windows 7.
1) download Kingsoft antivirus 2012
2) download 360.cn PC Doctor, the green + only.
3) run nr 2 and then run nr 1
4) download iobit toolbox (zip)
5) uninstall nr 2 using iobit uninstaller in toolbox. Re-boot and remove all 360 files from C,D,E disks manually.
5) run iobit reg errors fix (including deep scan)
6) run nr 4 disk clean in safe mode
7) run nr 4 shortcuts fix tool
8) run nr 4 cloned files remove tool in safe mode
9) don't run security holes fix tool of nr 4
10) download C Cleaner
11) run C Cleaner
12) download Wise Care 365
13) run nr 12.
14) download ARO 2013 and run it. Take great care when deleting errors and registry keys, etc - ARO sometimes jumps to the wrong key! If a red cross appears in a pop-up, do not proceed to delete that key! Run ARO, then C Cleaner several times, one after the other, until CCleaner's registry cleaner, the 2nd function, shows as issue-free.
14) download MZ Ultimate Booster
15) download MZ CPU Accelerator, set to run at start-up on 'high priority'.
16) download Auslogics internet optimizer.
17) download Firefox browser
18) apply Adblock + or Adblock Edge to Firefox.
19) open iobit toolbox and set SmartRAM tool to run at startup and in 'smartclean' mode.
20) re-boot automatically by applying nr 16
21) re-boot automatically by applying nr 14
