Re: Mission Impossible

I know one guy who is 61, he has no money, so he teaches part time to supplement the income of his young ( 34 year old) wife. She only makes 1100rmb a month. He can't get his pension till later this year. Some people say these sort of guys with no money and limited teaching experience can't afford to be fussy, the old "beggars can't be choosers" line. However, I think everyone deserves to be fairly treated at work, experienced or not, low paid or high paid workers.

Fair enough, the issue of workers rights is important anywhere. And yes, there are poor people, some even without pension, in China. By his own admission, that aussie cooked up fatty pork and grass like vegetables for lunch each day, he would rather eat crap, to support his smoking and drinking habit.
