Turnoi, with all due respect; you said you lived and worked there for 10 years once. You keep then when questioned posting photos of Hangzhou and saying that you are capable of enjoying China, when sadly,it does not seem to be the case. As for rule of law, I partially agree, but let's see:

Journalists being routinely detained and harrased? Off topic I know, but seems the UK is becoming more like putin's Russia or Iran, than a country that gave the world rule of law and freedom of speech.

And then what bleeding good is rule of law, when pensioners are attacked in the privacy and supposed safety of their own homes:

Perhaps many countries do not want rule of law for good reason. When criminals get more rights than the victims, you can bet your arse that China does not want to emulate the UK or the USA!
