China is NOT a Christian country and need not be

You like debate, allow me to play devils (sic) advocate here, and go out on a limb and say why is it NOT a christian country and why can't it become one? I suppose the UK was a christian country when we were not all dancing around maypoles and worshipping the sun as pagans until the romans turned up?
