My point was not on the same scale as in the UK, where they are 16, smoking a fag, and their only aspiration is to have more little scallies so they can get more welfare. That resolutely DOES not happen in China.

A good point...but then why are countries like china and russia which have embraced western decadence to it's most extreme not becoming extremists against their own country?
No, I would say there is a systematic rot in the west, in part caused by family values (single mothers in Asia, practically non existent!) and bad government and education etc
Can't see things turning around for the UK
