A ultrabook could be another option for CL. It is an ultra light and thin laptop, that would be very light to carry (a chinese teacher at my old school allowed me to pick hers up, I couldn't believe how lightweight it was compared to my old laptop). A free program like irfanview www.irfanview.com has a slideshow feature, even lets you save slideshows as .exe files in windows which can then be run on any computer using windows. Tablets are limited, but useful for some things.
