So yeah, SOME Chinese are open-minded. However there are nowhere near enough to make a change to the whole society.

You really hit the nail on the head with that one. It really would take a lot of effort to get enough folks in that country to wake up. Not an easy task at all. Grooming self conscious is something of a challenge when the chains of totalitarian behavior dominates all the way down to the single family unit, fueling acceptance totalitarian thinking amongst every individual who grows up in that country.
