Some of us already have money, and don't need to get second-rate DOS jobs in foreign countries. In fact, I'd say anybody working as a DOS is a desperado loser.

Very true, I was offered such a role when at that time, I had very little teaching experience.

It just made me question what kind of company it really was, if they were recruiting an inexperienced teacher as a manager, what kind of people will they recruit as actual teachers? Hence needless to say, I did not take the job.

Maybe I lost out on a bit of extra cash and supposed status, but there are far better ways out there of selling your soul.
