Re Article: English May Be Losing Its Luster in China
I will reply as you seem to have missed my first post on this topic where I put the American spelling of 'luster' in quotes. As the original article was from the Wall Street Journal (an American publication) this spelling of lustre in only to be expected.Now I haven't got the energy for a debate on American v. British spelling, so this will be my only reply.
Bit overly stern CL. It was only meant to be light-hearted. I never foresaw it as providing a vehicle for you to show solidarity and tacit approval to other posters. Never mind it's Easter and no room for gloom. Thank you anyway for the reply.
