True. But being a species of the caucasian faced monkey will net you even more, plus the girls will want you, if you are male. Just look at how teachers from a certain continent are treated in comparison. Not saying it is right, but you should always ALWAYS negotiate for a higher salary if you are white, especially if there are african and other asian country teachers at your job. Use your bargaining power and twist their racism against them!

I just wish that they'd start taking foreigners a little more seriously in the education sector. Equal opportunity employment needs to be practised in that area too.
Many foreigners come from countries with a far superior education system to that of China (pretty much every other country in the world then) and can contribute to improving the Chinese education system thanks to their knowledge and experience of superior systems, that rich Chinese people are willing to pay large amounts of money for their sons and daughters to enjoy the benefits of. However, the Chinese often seem to just view all of the foreigners as dancing monkeys that give facing, secure extra funding and teach certain classes that Chinese teachers don't want to teach. Even if they are fairly well educated and better qualified to teach than them.
