Advice for non-natural English Speakers
Adherence to spell-checkers seems to be a big stumbling block for English learners. It can quite easily tell you a word is incorrect when it is not the case. A case in point is 'degreeless' Being a natural English speaker I have the knowledge to ignore the squiggly lines. Watch your hyphens. I have noticed that they are being overused. It is better to not use a hyphen if you are not sure. Now, degree-less is okay but pretentious unless you are writing a legal document. If you are using 'English English' as opposed to 'American' also make sure you have installed 'British English' add-on. Happy learning.
