In response to Re Wumaos are plenty - NYT article "Trending: Attractive People Sharing Upbeat News About Tibet" (Takehisa Kinoshita)I don't welcome japanese, you are a cruel race, you tortured the british and others during the building of the railway bridge. And never apologized for it. Watch the railway man to understand more.
Sounds like a load of bpllocks to me, Fred. I don't suppose for one minute that a genuine poster by the flashy name of Takehisa Kinoshita is actually posting on this site. However, I agree with you. When I was at boarding school we had an art master whose knees had been persuaded to be where the back of his legs should be. The Japanese and the Germans have a lot to answer for. Their bad behaviour brought about the fall of UK as a great nation. We had to sell our birthright for sodding prunes to the yanks, who only deigned to enter the second war [when it affected them] after Britain facing the tyrants (Germans) for four years on its own. We note that the Cantonese people in HK were very sorry to see the back of us. They still flourish their Union Jacks from time to time. Britain has been extremely benign in the past...now we are a stupid doormat for the scroungers of the world.
Here we go again with the categorization. Well, as a Race of people your tribe has murdered, exploited, tortured, and flat out ruined more cultures and races of people in the written history of mankind. At least that is what it says on paper from just about everyone.
So YOU are the one who should present yourself in a humble, subdued, non-arrogant, and apologetic manner when you deal with people. But from what you have written you are the opposite of that. Do you really want people to believe that the world can only have progress when people like you die off this planet?
but can you really tell me of any developed country that has no reason to feel guilty about their past at all?
Hit the nail on the head with that one...
Not to mention that most Chinese seem to have somehow magically forgiven the Germans, but not
the Japanese.
It is quite strange, especially considering they have a lot more in common DNA wise that chinese do with germans...

Japan may have made some pretty terrible mistakes during World War 2, but can you really tell me of any developed country that has no reason to feel guilty about their past at all? The British brought some great things to the world war with their empire, but the stories of abuse, slavery and other crimes is pretty much endless. As for the U.S.A, even their natives accept the behaviour of their government (in regards to foreign policy) is not quite right these days..
Besides most Japanese people that I will ever speak to, don't even have parents that were born during World War 2. It is no use giving them a hard time about it, I'd rather forgive and move on.
Not to mention that most Chinese seem to have somehow magically forgiven the Germans, but not the Japanese. I've even had some students express their admiration of Adolf Hitler in front of me. I usually advise them not to say that out loud if they ever visit Europe. Can't deny that he was an effective public speaker and that particular lesson was about public speaking, so I set myself up for that one. It was pretty damn awkward, lol.
You are expert about Japan? And expert about China?
Charlatans not welcome everywhere, who are you that can decide this?
Bullshit talking!
Cruel nazi supporting barbarians from WW2 are not welcomed here. Nor in China, when their prime minister refuses to acknowledge his country's very cruel past. Also Japan was a primitive society pre 1945 and still is in many ways.

You are shooting the messenger, and your linguistic marker is very familiar.

I just happen to have a hardback copy of Dickens, His Parables and His Reader to hand.
