No, degree and tefl is enough. I don't want to work for the british council, hence, I don't need a delta.
I just want to teach chinese female students 19-22 (uni age) for 16 classes a week, hence I'm qualified enough.

Anyone with a degree in English plus a TEFL is better qualified than someone without a degree and a funny C/DELTA only.The voice of reason. There is no way you can cram into a 4 week CELTA, no matter how intensive, what you can learn by doing study for a degree and writing a dissertation and then getting a 4 week tefl on top of that. To say that a CELTA is better than, or even equal to, a degree & tefl is just GW nonsense imho!!!!!

Nobody said a C/DELTA was better than a degree + TEFL. Your entire argument is based on a fallacy.
You should have a relevant degree + TEFL or a CELTA, then (after a minimum of two years teaching) a DELTA
The information is there, you won't look at it, apparently content to wallow in your own ignorance.
