I keep writing it incorrectly, it should be L2. I saw so many different variations [TESOL, TEFL, ELL, ESL, ELA, etc.] but L2 [second language] came up a lot in my reading, so I went with that. Though I don't see it much outside of the articles. Have you seen it used much?
