Re Teaching 8 hours a week is not lazy!

Why should it be an insult?
History dictates you would be using it as such.

However, I could not care less; take the shoe that fits you!
Firstly, it should be 'wear' the shoe that fits you. Secondly, (either verb) the sentence makes no sense whatsoever given the context.

Your use of idiomatic language needs some serious work!
