We shouldn't neglect the problems of those "clients" using the prostitutes' services either. It's the other side of the story.

My friend once told me about a man who used to see her whose wife had end stage brain cancer and no longer recognized him. He would go to my friend just to have her lay down next to him and hug him to sleep. It broke her heart. He didn't want to have sex with her, but he missed the companionship. This, I don't mind so much. But using a woman because you've had a few beers and feel like getting your rocks off is a completely different thing.
