What on earth is "pure" language teaching?
It's construed as a euphemism for a load of old waffle- the kind of waffle that precedes one having to skedaddle because the flat and other things are not up to scratch. This is all hypothetical of course. So you hit the road taking your 'pure language teaching' with you, to another school the other side of China. The FAO there is another bloody illiterate and he too mistakes your professionally honed 'pure English teaching' for a load of old waffle...and so you re-skedaddle.
I'm a good teacher. The impact I leave on my students is that I have taught them English and they have enjoyed my lessons.
What on earth is "pure" language teaching? Is this like your "pure" psychology?!
Stop changing the goalposts and try changing the record, it's getting boring now.
