The Chinese AI began in 1970s with Jimmy Carter, Zbigniev Brzezinsky and then Deng Xiao Ping smoking a cigar in the White House which was followed with Jiang Zeming signing the WTO agreements in 2001. Had China not been allowed the access to developed economies and enabled to copy just about everything it could, it would have mostly ting rice today.
