My experience hiring native teachers who go outside their classroom lecturing other people about the right use of English language is just bad. Inside the classroom these teachers never bother to use the same lecture or passion to teach English to the students. Just lazy and uniterested. I've to admit, that the same way that we have peasants, white English speaking countries also have tones of them, many of them end it up coming to China to teach English. The signs are so obvious: They lecture anybody who does not agree with them with the ridiculous excuse of the *right use of English* or they use this fool pretext when engaging in discussions with people smarter than them. If they are from America, they call the directors anti-American without realizing that they are a disgrace as representatives of America. I'm sure most smarter Americans will agree with this point. Bottom line, we fired 3 native teachers this year and we hired 2 Filipinos and one Cameroonian, very nice teachers! We offered them the same conditions and salary than the other 3 fired. The new teachers are very grateful and our students like them very much. We still have 2 nice couples of teachers from the US and Canada for 2 and 4 years. We like them as family. Presently, we are preparing to take by train our 14 English teachers, and 30 Chinese teachers to a week trip to Mongolia as a present to their professionalism.
