I initially came to China with my sister. ( you'd think you'd know your own sister pretty well... guess not. ) It was a bloody nightmare! She was completely incompetent, didn't want to do anything but go to the foreign bars, didn't want to see China, had no respect for Asian people and drove me so crazy I had to send her packing! We haven't spoken since!

Yes, it is a scary thing to travel the world by yourself. However, something you don't realize until you get here is that: Everyone else here is doing it too! Try it, you'll love it. You'll meet so many new people and be much more adventurous, especially if you don't have anyone to constantly comprimise with!
