Well it depends on what area. Ive lived in Vancouver and that is a depressed area. Though I was in Toronto two years ago and looked for a month and found zip. Additionally, it also depends ones background, as mine is science and technical. But, I do think many kids get out of school and do the Bohemian thing, but I really think this is more than just an experience but a real job. I say that because many young college grads tend to take this work for granted. I dont; however, Id rather be doing something elselike teaching science and not English. But, many of my friends with real teaching degrees cant find work in BC. Im not sure how it is in Ontario. Im sorry if that sounded too bleak. Really, I should be asking people if they have found other work besides teaching English. That would be more relevant than my rant. I do apologize if Im being a little condescending.
