Now, my dear Chinese teacher of English ...
"AWE" is what I meant. It refers to INTIMIDATION, DREAD ... just a few miles departed from "mild protest!" Albeit you were correct in YOUR use, I merely wanted to present a parody on your term, "aw." That's all. So call me a smart-ass! My first wife did it often enough. End of lesson. Over and out.
