I belong to a web research group at austronesian@yahoogrouops.com
They are mostly linguists, historians, anthropoligists and generalists who have an interest in SE Asian studies especially ancient happenings. SE Asia is now being looked at seriously as the original Eden. Much of it was flooded at the end of the Pleistocene and many groups are thought to have dispersed by boat (Stephen Oppenheimer: Eden in the East).

This group has a lot of linguists and we are looking for a general website that has various sounds that can be heard by clicking on a word with a mouse. Something like click on a dipthong, click on a glottal stop, etc. What's a dipthong? Eslteachersboard has Spanish audio and German but do people out there know of a general linguistics sounds site?
