Would totally agree with that. Same for pubs in Australian cities, they piss all over anything China has to offer.

Are you still drinking out of schooners or do you have proper glasses?

Do you have real ale? You need to drink real ale from thick mugs otherwise the heat from your hand on thin glasses with bring up the temperature (cellar temperature about 52 Fahrenheit I think)too quickly. Another thing is unless you're all drinking at the bar you can take half a dozen or more pints back to your table with the handled thick mugs. Trays are not an option at a busy bar-be all over the place. Happy days, I haven't been in a pub for years...perhaps if we move to the country... but is all your beer sparkly chemicals or do you have the real stuff that can't be chilled?..well can be if you want to destroy the flavour.
