Yeap, absolutely true. An old student in China just disappointed me by saying she has changed her mind and that she likes nice jewellery and stuff, and wants her bf/husband to buy and pay for it all for her. They can act all coy and innocent and high and mighty when they are students, but really they expect it, and the "culture" demands it. Pathetic!!! Also the philipino female FT's make it worse and teach them all this independence crap, and that a bf should be an ATM. I wouldn't allow filipino female ft's to teach in China if I had my way.......
