A Russian passenger jet has been seemingly brought down, a rich Russian politician that was on a visa black list just killed in a DC hotel room and Syria is full of all sorts of foreign fighters rather than the local ones who have immigrated to EU. Whether the plane has crashed because of the Russian presence in Syria or not, whether the advisor to Putin has been assassinated for reasons connected to Middle East or not and whether armed Yanks and Russians cross paths in Syria or not all remain to be seen.
