Exactly what i was thinking; but i have had this brill idea wherein you could contribute big-time- 'Chinese Corner' for this forum. I am lucky because i have some Chinese girls to help me out, but I was in a restaurant on my own today and believe it or not they were serving up spam. I like spam but not in a soup. I thought to myself, I wish I could show somebody my tablet with ' is it possible ,please, for you to cut the span into 10 mm wedges, then batter them before deep-frying, and also fry a few finger sized potato wedges (chips) while you're at it?' written on it. Not linguistics perhaps but certainly necessary-language-istics for ordinary FT's. We could even call it TURNOI'S CHINESE CORNER. Although if you took a day off Silverboy or one of the other worthy gentlemen fluent in Mandarin, like O'Shei, could step in for you.
