English, as we know it, it just a 'pot pourri' of words from various languages and heaps of invented words from playwrights such as Shakespeare.

It's constantly evolving on an almost daily basis and whether or not that means it is in decline, remains as to one's own personal opinion.

After all, as I keep reminding myself, 'language' in it's basic form is only a means of communication.
