Why are you replacing the 'TEA' in Teachers with a 'DEE'?

There is sometimes a little joke where teachers will humourously write 'Teechers' (the comedy idea being they have made the basic spelling error of 'ee' instead of 'ea'.

Okay. But you have 'D'. A 'D' sound. It's as if you don't know English well enough to even hear why that's not going to be a mistake made by someone who's a native English speaker no matter how 'unqualified' they are.

You do this constantly and since you aren't qualified I need to teach you something: Typically pronouncing the word 'Teacher' with a 'D' as in 'Deecher' or 'Deacher' would be teasing or mocking, humourously mimicking Indian English.

Do you understand that now? To English speakers 'Deecher' would be 'mock Indian English'.

I'm not asking you. I'm telling you this. [edited]
