Yeap, Nanchang is just a pile. Some awful drab commie sculpture in the centre and the usual uninspired chinese high rise developments. A very boring city for FT's in my humble opinion. Jiangxi even has a bad rep amongst other chinese, so that should sound as a warning bell.
