Agree, corn does not have much nutritional value. It has some value for it's laxative
properties.

An old plumber I know (78 now ) told me that sometimes when septic tanks were pumped out they
contained
large amounts of corn.

I'm not sure this means corn is a laxative as such, but it certainly shows that it 'goes in one end, and comes straight out the other', lol.
