Let me tell you a story, if the moderator will allow it.
pDog expressed his opinion of the relative intelligence of the Chinese race yesterday. It was posted for 24 hours. The edited version still stands.
My post asked him politely and sarcastically to express his opinion as to the 'ranking' of the intelligence of all races.
My post was not accepted. His initial post was then edited by the moderator. John O'Shea was allowed to ameliorate pDog's statement.
I do understand the predicament that a moderator faces when forced to limit speech. I do not however understand how criticism of racism can be found unacceptable as in my first post. Perhaps this one is also unacceptable.
Gentlemen, freedom of speech, especially on a teachers' forum, does not, in my opinion, include racism.
I am not offended by anger, or hatred, or ignorance, or even macho sexism. But racism is beyond the pale [sic].
