Only 1 Muslim restaurant got angry. I 'carried in' beer coz they didn't sell any. Here you can usually carry in beer, mustard oil, home-cooked French fries and chiilis. Chilli oils/powders can't match the small dried red chillis for hotness. Curry powder I once bought from a local supermarket was disappointing too. I prefer Chinese Muslim restaurants, cleaner as a rule.
Re the Thailand link, I can't help you, boyyo! I'm no PC expert.
Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chanocha has sought to reassure Thais about the succession to the throne of Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn. Andrew MacGregor Marshall is a long time observer of Thailand says that the Crown Prince should have been proclaimed King Rama X last week, and that this is now creating confusion.
When the late King Bhumibol was proclaimed King in 1946, it was following the mysterious death of his older brother King Ananda. The truth behind his death has long been known within Palace quarters, but kept from the Thai public.
