I think anybody who thinks there are no gays or prostitutes in their country is an idiot.

I would call them 'ignorant'. We have one particular male student at my school who is quite obviously gay. (At least it's obvious to those who have a grain of common sense.)

During a conversation with his extremely pretty, 20-(something)-year-old Chinese head teacher the other day, she said, and I quote, "There's definitely something wrong with him, he really should go to the hospital and see a doctor."

Before you say anything, I can categorically assure you that she was serious. When I explained to her that he's quite simply gay, she not only refused to believe it, but inferred that I was 'disgusting' to even suggest such a thing.

Now THAT"S ignorance!
