Regardless where from, funds've mattered in all elections. Had Trump not invested his wealth in, few would've supported him which would've resulted in his early exit. Once, the rich and powerful faced the possibility of a president who'd bust their balls, they decided to put their electoral votes to practice in a hurry. So, Americans are about to have president Trump who now owes to the few rich and powerful Yankees rather than president Clinton who owes to Wall Street etc and a lot of questionable groups around the world. This agreeably sounds as a wise choice given the unwanted international influence in the local politics, however it most likely isolates the US from many other nations and it internationally creates a vacuum all will probably regret one day. Whether Trump will truly have the powers of a Commander in Chief still remains to be seen somehow as the Electoral College may also have a say next month. The Founding Fathers that have created this institution were affraid of "real democracy" too.
Trump used his own money to fund his campaign. He didn't have any Wall St buddies helping him out like Clinton did.He should be congratulated and admired for his efforts. He is obviously serious and cares about his country, otherwise he would not spend tens of millions of his own dollars just to get a 400,000 dollar a year politicians job
Clinton supported ( and was supported by ) bankers, her establishment mates in Washington, women with an entitlement mentality, and her and Obama wanted to let up to 100,000 Syrian refugees into the United States, an insane policy that would be a disaster.
That is why she lost and people should accept this and stop coming up with lame excuses for her.
