Vancouver BC has a lot of affinities with these states.

Of course, these states represent all the West Coast, and the rest of the US would never allow them to secede because it needs the military bases along the coast of CA, mostly San Diego. But otherwise, these states have all they need in order to be independent, starting with a great governor in CA.
