Re Anglican Cathedral
Albert

Now at least one of us will know this building, an Anglican Cathedral as opposed to Church of
England. People are always telling me there's a difference but I don't know what it is
yet. Can anybody tell me??
Bloddy, my understanding is this:
'The Church of England' is the generic name given to the organisation as a whole. A bit like referring to a company, of sorts. (McDonalds, for instance).
'Anglican Cathedral' is simply a cathedral that belongs to that organisation. It would be defined as 'Anglican' so as to distinguish it from Catholic ones for example. After all, McDonalds doesn't want its customers heading over to Burger King, now does it?
