I wasn't asking for justification, Migsy, I was merely offering my opinion on Mrs Mac pies and VB, which just happens to be the opposite of yours.
As for the Jamie Oliver and nut roast 'quips', quite the opposite.

I previously commented to Taffy that 'Ginsters' pies are awesome - a far cry from the likes of Mrs Mac's - and, since living in China, I have had to learn to COOK (or MAKE) the things I miss from 'back 'ome'. Nothing 'Jamie Oliverish' about that.

People living in China, who bemoan the fact they can't buy a good pie, have 2 options - stop complaining or go make your own. Pretty simple, eh?
