I agree.

Some people like monogamy, but they are very few.

Marriage is an outdated institution. Was OK before women started to work and be financially independent. But it has no sustainable value today for most people.

But romantic ideas (supported by the marriage industry) still make immature people pay $50,000 for a wedding and max out their credit cards, while statistics clearly state that 60% of married couples divorce within 3 years: People know that, their parents, uncles and aunts are all divorced, but they barge into the expectations of married life with closed eyes, they barge into the fallacy with rage.

Males, because of their DNA, are made to wander for the survival of the species.

Women much less because their DNA keeps them anchored to a safe place where to give birth and raise babies.

And all of that DNA stuff is OK, except for the expectations that come with marriage.

Little girls dream of their wedding gowns for 2 decades because they want to be a princess for one day. But it does not fit with reality at all. They are not a princess in that $8,000 gown ($8,000 is on the low side): They are beautiful young women who get the dress paid by mom and dad - that is OK in itself - but who believe their own mythology: This belief will bring excruciating pain in the 3 years before the divorce. All that pain is useless and could be avoided if the marriage industry was exposed for what it is: A scam!
