Hello

I will be finishing my undergraduate engineering degree this April in Canada. I am looking for a rewarding overseas experience for about a year. My main goal is to gain exposure to the world outside Canada and hopefully do something useful at the same time (a very vague goal I realize)

I've seen these TEFL etc sites but I'm wondering how risky it is to take them - ie, after spending the money, time and energy, how selective can I expect to be in getting a placement in a country I want, that will actually allow me to support myself properly while I'm overseas? And also, are there any other short term opportunities that are specifically for university graduates?

Please email me if you have any answers/advice/suggested direction. The career services at my school haven't been too helpful.

Thanks,
Sura
