Reminds me the decades when LA was as polluted as Beijing.

We were lucky to have governors and local law makers who were willing to do what it takes - and doing anything about the problem, at the time, was VERY controversial. These people were very strong. And the fight is re-starting with the new administration who will try to revert environmental concerns and protections to what they were in the 1950s. There are moments when the human nature makes me nauseous.
