It may have been ok in the 1940's or 1950's, even a lot of MGTOW will admit that. Now there is NOTHING in marriage for men. Why would someone enter into a life long contract where there is zero benefit for them? There is plenty of risk though: you can lose half your life savings, more if you have kids and get divorced, you can end up being in massive debt, living in extreme poverty and being driven to suicide. Really, who wants that?
